How well we remember wondering if we'd make it to our 35th, and here we are at 40! Yahoo!!! July 5th was the big day and we were surrounded by our 5 children, their spouses, and 16 adorable grandchildren. A surprise video presentation with sweet and funny comments by each of our grandchildren was a highlight!
On Monday, the 9th, we meet with Dr. Walter Urba. It's been four months since the last visit, and will be 5 months until the next. He doesn't feel that a CT or MRI is necessary until right before the next appointment in mid-December. Mark feels fantastic! There is nothing to indicate that there is anything amiss.
Life for us is sweet and we count our blessings for the additional time that we have together. Thank you for your love and support. We love and appreciate you!
Introduction
Late February of 2012 Mark was diagnosed with stage 4 Metastatic Melanoma Cancer. This is written for our family and friends who have so caringly expressed a desire to know of the current situation. We so appreciate the love and support that has been shown to us and we lovingly empathize with and pray for many of you that have had or are currently going through trials of your own. In love, hope and faith, Mark and Ane

ReplyDeleteMark,
ReplyDeleteThe anniversary celebration you described sounds truly sublime. What a blessing. I am happy to hear your health is intact too. Your story is such an inspiration.
My name is Sultan Beardsley. I am a PhD student at the University of Florida. While my research is in plant genetics, I hold a special interest in health and biotechnology which how I came to find Galectin Therapeutics and their drug GRMD02. Would you be willing to do an interview with me discussing your battle with cancer and treatment experience with GRMD02?
